Graphite

Graphite is a roller blind textile designed by Cristian Zuzunaga and the pinnacle of design, innovation, and sustainability. It is the first Kvadrat Shade roller blind textile made from 100% recycled polyester, made entirely from textile waste. Its colours are inspired by the Northern European weather conditions in autumn and winter.

The metallised backing of Graphite is a distinctive feature of the Kvadrat Shade textile range. Our metallised textiles usually have a highly reflective light grey backing, but this textile has a darker backside. This darker aluminium layer captures the dynamic, mineral qualities of graphite, subtly changing its appearance under different light intensities – similar to the reflections and natural shimmer of minerals such as graphite and pyrite.

Graphite is made from 100% textile-to-textile recycled polyester yarn. This recycling process ensures that the material is not only durable but also fully recyclable, contributing to a circular design process that reduces waste.
